Choose & Book

Directly Bookable Choose & Book (DBS) is available for booking patient appointments for the London NHS Diagnostic Service.

The primary benefits of DBS are:

  • the ability to choose the date and time of their appointment based on actual availability and proximity to their home.
  • provides greater convenience and certainty as the choice is the patients and less chance that information will be lost in the post as interactions are system based.
  • For the PCT Choose and Book supports the development of better referral pathways, improves the quality of referrals and reduces the level of Did Not Attends (DNA), plus it reduces the likelihood of overbooking and effort in handling clinical correspondence.

Frequently asked Questions:

Q - How do I access services through Choose and Book?
A  - Services are accessed via a web based application which resides on the NHS N3 network

  • MRI
  • Utrasound
